Proclaiming Terms
of "True Marriage"

Terms

It is legal to select the terms of marriage contracts, specifying life-long commitment, and responsibilities "in good times and in bad, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health." Hear founder's presentation. Jump to audio download.

Upholding Marriage against
No-Fault Divorce in Court

No-Fault Divorce is court-ordered separation of children from a dedicated spouse - much of the time for no moral reason - against the will of this capable parent and the children.

Courts and legislators should not be able to force Americans to accept a form of marriage that is opposite the intentions of the couple contemplating marriage. The court should not be able to force no-fault divorce. This constitutional challenge against no-fault divorce is being brought before the Ohio appeals court by the founder of Mary's Advocates.
  • Children of true marriage have the natural right to have both parents integrally involved in their everyday lives, so long as neither parent is gravely dangerous or committing adultery.

  • In No-Fault Divorce, abandonment, adultery and immorality are irrelevant in the civil judge's custody determinations and financial settlements.

  • Those who legally marry, have the natural right to choose the terms of their own marriage contract, rules, and arbitrator in case of marital strife or future separation.

Teachers Aided and Advised

Mary's Advocates supports the sanctity and indissolubility marriage and recongnizes, unfortunately, that some writers apparently do not. When publishers or teachers defy Universal Church teaching regarding the sacred indissolubility of marriage, Mary's advocates will note the discrepancy. Mary's advocates notifies publisher of misinformation, and notifies those in the authoritative positions to prevent scandal caused by misinformation.

"Daddy, fix our broken family."

For example, these children were taken from their mother one month after she submitted an argument to the court that the government can't ignore the specific promises made by her and her husband when they married. Civil courts always make subjective determinations as to which parent has to live separated from their children, and in no fault-divorce, the parent who doesn't want divorce usually loses the children.
