Dear Mr. Lago,

Please pass this message to Cardinal George.  I wanted him to know that I wrote to Steve Habisohn.  I am concerned about Steve apparent support of Bud Macfarlane's (founder of the Mary Foundation) decision to divorce his wife and I am concerned about Steve's ideas about marraige and women.  My letter to Steve is copied below.

Dear April and Steve

I have seen the letter from the Macfarlane's friend about you, and Cardinal George's reply.  According to Macfarlane family friends, you are the only person apparently supporting Bud's decsion to divorce his wife.

Please, for the sake of the Macfarlane boys, and for the sake Christ and His Church, follow the advise of your Bishop as so simply stated at the Bishop's request by Rev. Lodge's, the Ecclesiastical Dean of Chicago's Major Seminari in Mundelein,  "stay out of the marriage counseling business.   Furthermore, [your] language in the letter [you] wrote [to Bai] is nowhere supported in either Ephesians 5 or in the writings of John Paul."

Sincerely

. . .

cc: Cardinal George
